We have a strong commitment to academic excellence and a high level of discipline. The curriculum offered at the Kindergarten is carefully structured to provide support and extend knowledge, understanding, skills and onfidence. We plan and teach appropriate activities based on the Early Learning Goals set out by the British National Curriculum, thus providing a sound basis for lifelong learning. The foundation stage is about developing key learning skills such as listening, speaking, concentration, persistence and learning to work together and cooperate with other children. It is also about developing early communication, literacy and numeracy skills that will prepare young children for Key Stage 1 of the British National Curriculum.
Play is at the centre of our Kindergarten Curriculum. It’s the child’s work. Children develop the social, emotional, physical and creative aspects of their character through this natural activity.
The Kindergarten has three levels:
-
Kindergarten 1 (Ages 2 - 3)
-
Kindergarten 2 (Ages 3 - 4)
-
Reception Class (Ages 4 - 5)
