Our academic year begins in September and entry is preferred at this time. However, students may be accepted at any time in the year. Students seeking admission are assessed and an entry exam taken to help in determining their correct placements. Those seeking admission after taking KCPE are exempted from the entry exam and instead, their KCPE exam results are used to place them either in a class at Key Stage 3.

Admission in to A Level studies is based on performance in IGCSE examinations or its equivalent. A minimum of grade C passes in Mathematics and English Language as well as in subjects of choice is required.  KCSE students are usually admitted in January Term and prepared for AS Level examinations in November of the same year.
The Headmaster may admit a student who does not meet the above entry criteria if he believes it to be in the best interest of the student.
